So you want to pass your Practical Driving Test ? Are you looking for a driving instructor who will give you an excellent chance of passing your test first time, then please read on.

Do you live in and around Gosport, Fareham, Stubbington, Lee-on-the-Solent, Portchester, Titchfield, Hill Head, Locks Heath, Warsash, Park Gate, Bursledon, or serving in the armed forces in the Portsmouth area and looking for a Quality Driving Instruction at Affordable Prices.   In addition to the area's listed above, for intensive courses we also cover all area's of Portsmouth and surrounding area's. At Botties School of Motoring it is guarenteed that you will only be taught to drive by a fully qualified and experienced Driving Standards Agency Grade 5 Approved Driving Instructor. We cater for learner drivers of all standards, abilities and age groups, from 17 upwards, mature and nervous learners are very welcome and will be made to feel at ease through patient and friendly instruction conducted in a relaxed and calm atmosphere. It is the aim of Botties School of Motoring to make learning to drive an enjoyable and memorable experience.

Your spare time is probably precious to you so we aim to be as flexible as possible when it comes to the availablitly of lesson times, in order to cater for most life styles, lesson bookings are available Mon - Sat from early til late, with no extra charge for evening and weekend bookings.

HOW MANY LESSONS WILL YOU NEED? 

The number of lessons you will need depends on several factors, not least your ability and determination.  DSA research show that the "average learner" takes approximatetely 45 hours of professional tuition supported by up to 22 hours of private practice.
Generally the most import and relevant factor is your age.  A 17 year old, on average, requires fewer lessons than older learners. A rough guide is that you may need around 2 hours for every year of your age.  Some pass quicker, some take considerabley longer. When you arange your lessons, if possible, try to do 2 hour long sessions or if you find this to much an hour and half is also good. If you can afford it, more than one lesson per week is also a good idea.  You will learn much more in one 2 hour long lesson than in two seperate 1 hour lessons.  This may reduce the total hours you need by up to a third - Saving You £££££££££
